Orange Jell-o Salad

Original was too jiggly, too much liquid (3 cups total). Cut it to 2 cups total. Recipe edited.

Thanksgiving 2024: Tried my own orange sherbet recipe: 2 cups OJ, 1 cup Sugar, 1/2 cup heavy cream, 1/2 cup milk. Tasted good, too jiggly though. Need to reduce liquid, or add another box of jello.

Ingredients

• 1 box of orange jello
• 1 can mandarin oranges
• 1 pint of orange sherbet, softened

Directions

1. Dissolve a box of orange jello in 1 cups of boiling water and stir in the juice from the can of mandarin oranges adding water to make 1 cup - 2 cups total liquid.
2. Stir in one pint of sherbet until it melts.
3. Pour into mold or serving dish and scatter the mandarin orange segments into the mix.
4. Refrigerate until set.
